Our engineered coatings are used on numerous aluminum coatings to prevent wear and oxidation. Approved to US military specifications, we have achieved a great deal of success in providing reliable, mission critical enhanced surface coatings.

As an example of both our new and repair capabilities, one recent space mission was threatening to be delayed when unusual wear was detected on a part that had been in service for a number of years.

Due to the complexity of the part and availability of the material to make a new one, delivery could have been as long a a couple of weeks. Obviously, this was not acceptable to anyone involved with the program.

Metalon was able to bring this part back to original dimensions and restore the worn area in a couple of days, thus allowing the space shuttle to leave as scheduled and providing significant benefits to all the parties concerned.
